Aside of being founder, she held the role of President for two consecutive academic years. She is a Fall 2017 initiate into The Nu Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She has had experience working with the school newspaper, The Carolinian, as a photographer. During her position, her photographs were featured on the cover four times.
Sydney is in love with all things art. “I've fallen in love with photography, painting, writing, dance, all different forms of art. Reason being, I've always liked to express myself in an artistic way, and I feel as though the complexity of art meshes well with the complexity of my mind. I have had a passion for Photography since about 2010. I went from being the test subject of my dad, who has been a photographer for 20 plus years, to being the student/assistant. My goal is to capture the emotions that are hard to put into words. The "expressive self." I want people to be touched by my photos.”
She is a very hardworking, determined individual who aspires to develop further with a career as a Fine Arts and Lifestyle Photographer.
